Refund policy
Thank you for choosing Zen-Rage Exhausts. Because our exhausts are custom-made to order, we generally do not offer returns or refunds. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may occur, and we are committed to working with you to find a reasonable resolution. Please contact us at contact@zen-rage.com with any questions or concerns.
Warranty (Valves Only)
All Zen-Rage exhaust valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation. It does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation (professional installation is highly recommended)
- Misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Accidents, collisions, or road hazards
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Exposure to corrosive substances (e.g., road salt, chemicals)
- Damage resulting from lack of maintenance
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Damage caused by a "burn wire" (also known as a resistor wire or shunt wire) being improperly installed, used, or failing. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the correct specification and installation of any burn wire used in conjunction with the exhaust valves. Zen-Rage Exhausts is not responsible for any damage caused by the use or failure of a burn wire. Burn wires and other wiring components are not covered under warranty.
If you believe your valve is defective and covered under this limited warranty, you must contact us at contact@zen-rage.com within 7 days of discovering the defect, providing your order information, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos or videos as evidence. Failure to notify us within 7 days may void your warranty. We will evaluate your claim. If deemed valid, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective valve. You are responsible for allshipping costs associated with returning the valve and receiving the repaired or replacement valve. We reserve the right to refuse warranty service if the valve shows signs of misuse, alteration, or damage not covered by this warranty.
Wiring Components
While complete exhaust systems are custom-made, individual wiring components, including burn wires, are available for purchase separately should the need arise. Please contact us at contact@zen-rage.com for information on purchasing replacement or additional wiring parts.
Damages and Issues
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you must contact us at contact@zen-rage.com within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photos of the damage, the packaging, and the incorrect item. Failure to report damage or discrepancies within 48 hours may be deemed acceptance of the goods in their delivered condition, and we may not be obligated to provide a replacement or refund.
Returns (Limited Circumstances)
Because our exhausts are custom-made, returns are generally not accepted. However, in exceptional circumstances, such as a significant manufacturing defect that cannot be repaired, we may, at our sole discretion, authorize a return. Any authorized return must be initiated by contacting us at contact@zen-rage.com within 7 days of receiving your order. The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, with all tags and packaging, and you are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
While we may consider returns in very limited circumstances, the following items are never returnable:
- Items damaged due to improper installation or use
- Items that have been modified or altered
- Items showing signs of wear and tear
- Sale items
- Gift cards
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Applies to Non-Custom Items)
While our exhausts are generally custom-made, if the 14-day cooling-off period under EU law applies to your specific purchase (i.e. if it is determined to be a non-custom, off-the-shelf item), you must contact us at contact@zen-rage.com within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a cancellation. The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, with all tags and packaging, and you are responsible for all return shipping costs. A refund, if applicable, will only be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item, and it is determined to be in its original condition.
Refunds (Limited Circumstances)
Refunds are only issued in the extremely rare circumstance of a significant manufacturing defect that cannot be repaired or replaced, or when legally required (e.g., under the EU cooling-off period for non-custom items), and only after thorough investigation and at our sole discretion. No refunds are offered for buyer's remorse, incorrect fitment (it is the customer's responsibility to ensure correct fitment), or any other reason.
If a refund is approved (at our sole discretion), it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. We are not responsible for any delays caused by your bank or credit card company.
